Towards Zero filming locations as new Agatha Christie drama begins on BBC

BBC has introduced a captivating new offering for fans of whodunnits with their latest Agatha Christie adaptation Towards Zero. The brand new miniseries features a stellar cast including Matthew Rhys, Anjelica Huston, and Mimi Keene from Sex Education.
The series follows the story of Superintendent Battle and Inspector Leach as they try and solve the case behind the killing of a widow in Gull's Point. There's a failed suicide, a false theft charge, and a tennis star's love life in the story which are all connected and culminate in the revelation of a murder plot.
The three-part series not only offers an intriguing storyline but a breathtaking backdrop to it too. The Agatha Christie adaptation has been shot in several different locations with some scenes shot here in Wales. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter.
Where is Towards Zero filmed?Burgh Island, Devon
Viewers may have spotted this beautiful spot in the scenes set in Nice, south of France, at the beginning of the show. Burgh Island, which is a tidal island located on the coast of south Devon, stood in for exterior shots in the area surrounding the fictional Easterhead Bay Hotel in the show.
And the hotel itself is actually shot at Burgh Island Hotel on the island. In fact author Agatha Christie had envisaged the story taking place right in this part of the UK as she wrote this and many other stories while living in Devon.
The Forum, Bath
This music venue in Bath was featured in a few interior shots throughout the show.
Tyntesfield House
Tyntesfield House is a National Trust Property just outside Bristol. In the show it serves as Lady Tressilian's Gull Point. The Gothic Revival property is open to the public so you can see the richly-decorated interior and the sprawling grounds yourself.
Bantham and Thurlestone

Goldney Hall
Goldney Hall is a University of Bristol building. This set the scenes for Nevile Strange's apartment.
Frog Lane
Also in Bristol the nearby Frog Lane features as the exterior shots of Strange's street in London.
Bristol Cathedral
Bristol Cathedral has been doubled as Westminster's Royal Courts of Justice in the show.
Sessions House, Usk, Monmouthshire
And across the border, here in Wales, th interior shots of the Courts of Justice were shot in Sessions House in Usk.
The Bath and West Showground, Somerset
The wide open grounds of the Bath and West showground were used to mimic the grounds of Wimbledon in Towards Zero.
