Travis Kelce had a different name as a kid — and his brother Jason Kelce recently explained the hilarious reason why.

While appearing on ESPN shortly before the Saturday, Jan. 18 game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans, Jason, 37, shared the funny tidbit about his brother’s alter ego, which was in honor of an NBA legend.

“He told the entire block his name was Charles because his favorite basketball player was Charles Barkley,” Jason explained to his fellow co-hosts, who laughed at the story.

The moment was shared by the brothers’ New Heights podcast account on X.
