Watch: Lee Min Ho Must Carry Out A Secret Mission In Space In New Trailer For “When The Stars Gossip”
tvN has unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming drama “When the Stars Gossip”!
“When the Stars Gossip” will tell the unlikely love story of Commander Eve Kim (Gong Hyo Jin), who works at a zero-gravity space station, and Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), a tourist at the space station who has arrived with a secret mission.
The new trailer begins with Gong Ryong heading to space, where Eve Kim announces, “This is the space station.” The expedition that Gong Ryong has joined involves research using fruit flies and lab mice, and Eve Kim gets emotional as she watches over an experiment, saying, “This is an incredible moment in which life is being created.”
While scientists like Kang Kang Soo (Oh Jung Se) are hard at work on their research, newcomer Gong Ryong struggles to adapt to zero gravity. In order to prevent him from causing an accident, Eve Kim sternly warns him, “Don’t touch anything and just stay put,” but it’s too late—Gong Ryong is already exploring every last inch of the space station.
However, it turns out that there’s a reason for Gong Ryong’s behavior. Although he joined the expedition under the pretense of being a tourist, he is actually searching for something as part of a secret mission. Grabbing Kang Kang Soo by the collar, Gong Ryong reveals, “I didn’t come here for sightseeing.”
Eve Kim begins to suspect that something is off and resolves to “uncover everything,” but Gong Ryong remains determined. As tensions rise, Eve Kim asks, “Do you want to die? I’m going to send you back to Earth no matter what.” Undeterred, Gong Ryong declares, “I’m not going home empty-handed.”
“When the Stars Gossip” will premiere on January 4 at 9:20 p.m. KST. Check out the new preview below!
