Watch Scarlett Johansson Avoid Ex-Husband Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively at TIME100 Gala
The exes crossed paths at the prestigious event.
Scarlett Johansson managed to avoid being seen near her ex-husband Ryan Reynolds while they both attended the TIME100 Gala.
In a video from the April 24 event, the 40-year-old actress was all smiles as she arrived at the gala and was seen quickly leaving the carpet after posing for photos. Just moments later, Reynolds hit the carpet with his now-wife, Blake Lively. Both women were honored at the gala after appearing on the TIME100 list of the Most Influential People of 2025, where Johansson was also interviewed by fellow Marvel star Chris Evans!

⏠sonido original â EstiloDFReynolds and Johansson married in 2008 after a year of dating but separated in 2010, two years before he walked down the aisle for a second time with Lively. âAfter long and careful consideration on both our parts, weâve decided to end our marriage,â Reynolds and Johansson wrote in a statement issued to People at the time of their split. âWe entered our relationship with love, and itâs with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isnât expected, itâs certainly appreciated.â
However, there doesnât appear to be any bad blood between the pair. During a 2023 appearance on  Gwyneth Paltrowâs The goop Podcast, Johansson said of Reynolds, âHeâs a good guy.â
After splitting from Reynolds, Johansson married French journalist Romain Dauriac in 2014 and welcomed a daughter, Rose, before their 2017 divorce. She has been married to SNL star Colin Jost since 2020 and they share a son, Cosmo.
At TIME100, Reynolds supported Lively as she delivered a speech at the event in which she alluded to her her ongoing legal battle with her It Ends with Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni. In her speech, Lively spoke about her own mother who survived an assault by a work acquaintance âwho attempted to take her life.â
âIâve watched [my mom] conceal her raw and undeserved shame my entire life, so as her daughter, being asked to share this today is monumental,â she said. âIf we name it, we change it.â Lively also thanked âevery man, including my sweet husband, who [is] kind and good when no one is watching.â
