Watch: Um Tae Goo Welcomes The Mysterious Seolhyun Into His Home In Upcoming Drama “Light Shop” Preview
Disney+’s original series “Light Shop” has unveiled a preview video ahead of its premiere!
“Light Shop” follows the story of a unique lamp store that illuminates a dark alley and draws in mysterious guests with hidden secrets. The series is based on a webtoon by artist Kang Full. After writing the drama adaptation of his webtoon “Moving,” Kang Full also wrote the script for this project, which marks actor Kim Hee Won’s directorial debut.
The preview video introduces viewers to Hyun Min (Um Tae Goo), who is seen riding a bus on his way home. Each night, as he exits the bus, he notices a mysterious woman, Ji Young (Seolhyun), sitting alone at a dark bus stop. She seems to be waiting for someone, a suitcase resting beside her. After watching her for several nights, Hyun Min finally decides to approach her, asking what she is doing there. In response, Ji Young inquires, “You don’t know me?” Hyun Min, slightly taken aback, asks, “Are we acquaintances?” With no further words exchanged, he chooses to walk away.
On another rainy night, Hyun Min grows concerned for Ji Young, still sitting at the bus stop in the downpour. He walks over, offering to share his umbrella. Ji Young then poses another unsettling question: “Do you know me?” She continues cryptically, “I don’t have much time.” Sensing her distress, Hyun Min invites her to his home, where the video takes a chilling turn. As Ji Young steps inside, the door shuts behind her, her mysterious expression lingering in the final frame.
With its intriguing storyline and atmospheric tension, “Light Shop” is sure to captivate audiences when it arrives.

“Light Shop” will consist of a total of eight episodes. Four episodes will be available on December 4, followed by the release of two episodes each week for the next two weeks.

BLACKPINK’s Rosé continues to soar to new heights on U.S. radio with “APT.”!
For the week ending on December 7, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ smash hit “APT.” rose to a new peak of No. 14 in its sixth week on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States.
Rosé is now the first female K-pop soloist ever to break the top 15—and only the second female K-pop artist overall. (Even including groups, “APT.” is only the second song by a female K-pop act to enter the top 15, following FIFTY FIFTY’s “Cupid.”)
Rosé has also become the first female K-pop soloist ever to enter the top 40 of Billboard’s Radio Songs chart (formerly Hot 100 Airplay), which measures weekly plays on U.S. radio stations across all musical genres. In its second week on the chart, “APT.” jumped to a new peak of No. 29.
Additionally, “APT.” topped both Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts for the sixth week in a row, extending its own record as the K-pop song with the second most weeks at No. 1 on the Global 200 (bested only by BTS’s Jungkook’s “Seven” featuring Latto, which topped the chart for seven weeks in 2023).
Rosé’s new single “number one girl” also made a strong debut on both global charts: the song entered the Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 11 and the Global 200 at No. 29.
Meanwhile, “APT.” ranked No. 22 in its sixth consecutive week on Billboard’s Hot 100, in addition to returning to its peak of No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales chart—meaning it was once again the second best-selling song of the week in the United States.
