Speaking on Australia's "Today" show Thursday, Ed expressed optimism about the couple's future, noting that with both the NFL season and Swift's "Eras Tour" coming to a close, they will finally have uninterrupted time together.
"Without the NFL season, without the Eras Tour, [it will be] just them alone really connecting more," he shared. "I think that can only be a good thing."
Swift wrapped up her record-breaking tour in December 2024 after nearly two years of performances spanning five continents and 149 shows. Meanwhile, Kelce is gearing up for his fourth Super Bowl appearance as his team takes on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Will There Be A Proposal?
When co-host Karl Stefanovic jokingly pressed for engagement details, Ed playfully dodged the question, saying, "Did you really think I was going to come up with that?"
He also refrained from sharing whether Swift had a surprise performance planned for the big game, insisting, "I haven't talked to Taylor this week. I have no idea what her plans are. I would let her publicist talk to you about that."

Beyond their romance, Ed praised Swift's growing understanding of football, crediting her father, Scott Swift, for helping her learn the sport.
"She's watching football with her dad a lot. She's watching football whenever she can," he explained. He even recalled a recent moment when Swift showed off her knowledge of the game.
"The Chiefs were in the red zone, and they had to go for a field goal," Ed shared. "I'm sitting there thinking, 'I hate field goals.' And Taylor comes back and says, 'I'll take the points.'"
He added, "A year ago, she didn't know a field goal from an extra point, and now she's talking football strategy. So I think she's enjoying the game."

In a February 2024 interview with the Los Angeles Times, he called her a "very gracious" person, and in an earlier conversation with PEOPLE Magazine, he insisted that Swift is not a "diva" but rather a "very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman" who even picks up trash in the Arrowhead Stadium suite.

Taylor Swift Confirmed For Super Bowl LIX
"I think everybody's coming in," the former Philadelphia Eagles center told PEOPLE Magazine on Tuesday. "I mean, I don't want to speak for everybody, but I think, obviously, our whole family. I believe, obviously, Trav and Taylor, and his family and his friends."
Jason also noted that Travis always travels with a large entourage. "Even when he's in regular season mode, he's always got a bunch of his friends there," he explained. "He's kept in touch much better with a lot of the people from our hometown. So there's always a loaded contingency for the Kelces, wherever we're at."
All Eyes Will Be On Taylor Swift's Suite
While Swift's presence at the game is confirmed, it remains unclear which of her famous friends will be joining her in the VIP suite.
At last year's Super Bowl, the "Love Story" singer brought along an A-list squad, including Blake Lively, to watch the Chiefs secure their second consecutive championship.
Swift's family also made an appearance, with her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, and her brother, Austin Swift, spotted mingling with Travis' parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, as well as Jason and his wife, Kylie Kelce.
Ed has attended several Chiefs games alongside Swift, as well as one of her concerts, and he will be present at New Orleans' Caesars Superdome for Sunday's Super Bowl showdown.
