Which couples from Farmer Wants A Wife Season 2 are still together? The Pairs Might Surprise You - The Artistree
FOX finished airing the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife in May, and it looks like Season 3 is on the way. A casting call for new farmers and single women
FOX finished airing the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife in May, and it looks like Season 3 is on the way. A casting call for new farmers and single women to film between August and October was announced, so itâs possible that new matchmaking drama has already started!
While we wait for the third season, weâre curious: Which couples from the show are still together?
Host Jennifer Nettles, who has been with the show since FOX brought it back in 2023, shared her thoughts on matchmaking with Parade. She said, âThere are so many of these shows that are out there, dating shows, but I am not a fan of those.
I feel like they are over-dramatized for people who want 15 seconds of fame to become Instagram influencers, which is fun, but it definitely is escapism. This show is not escapism.
This show is relatable because itâs authentic. When it first came across my desk I was like, âA dating show? No thanks.â Then they came back and shared with me the successes of their shows. That got my attention.â
So, how did the first two seasons of the reboot go in terms of finding lasting love? And did the couple from the original first season on CW ever get married? Find out where the couples from Farmer Wants a Wife are now.
Which Couples From Farmer Wants a Wife Season 2 Are Still Together?
The Season 2 reunion aired on May 16, 2024, showing the current status of the three couples (and single dad Ty). Hereâs what we found out.
Nathan Smothers and Taylor Bedell
The cattle farmer from Florida, Nathan, found his perfect match in Taylorâand yes, they are still together!
The couple shared that after the finale, Nathan invited Taylor to spend the holidays with his family, and they had a great time (with video evidence). Although Taylor hasnât moved from her hometown of Dallas, TX, she plans to move to the farm within the next year.
âIâve always prayed for a godly man that was going to be my best friend,â Taylor said. âIâve got somebody that blesses every meal I eat, opens every car door, and asks for the dance every time a slow song comes on. Thatâs all I can ask for.â
Nathan shared that Taylor loves him for who he is.
Could Nathan have found a wife? âMaybe in the future,â he said. âI love Taylor very much.â
The couple recently celebrated Taylorâs birthday with a weekend trip to Dallas.
Brandon Rogers and Grace Girard
Brandon and Grace are no longer together. Although they seemed to be on good terms during the reunion (and shared a cute behind-the-scenes video from their time together in Nowhere, Colorado), their relationship didnât last.
Grace stayed in Colorado for a while, exploring the valley, visiting local dive bars, meeting friends, and spending time together.
Brandon explained that they had a strong friendship but it âdid not really grow into the romantic connection that I was looking for.â
Grace, holding back tears, said it was hard to hear, but she was glad they gave it their all. âThatâs all we can ask for.â
Grace shared some good news in Juneâshe has a new boyfriend, Trevor Jung, who is the transit and mobility director for the City of Racine, Wisconsin, and a delegate for the Wisconsin Democratic National Convention. We hope sheâs happy with him!
Sydney Errera and Mitchell Kolinsky
No one ever doubted Sydney. She found Mitchell, and they are still together. When Jennifer Nettles asked if love was still âbloomingâ between them, the couple confirmed it was.
âSheâs my girl,â Mitchell said, pulling Sydney closer.
âIâm thankful to have her by my side and I hope it continues to be that way.â
When asked if Mitchell had found a wife, he answered, âIâd love to think so.â
They didnât mention whether theyâve gone hunting together yet, as they had promised to do. But we can guess: Somewhere on Mitchellâs Tennessee ranch, thereâs a new deer head that Sydney has mounted.
Ty FerrellTy Ferrell
Ty chose to follow his âgutâ and didnât pursue a relationship with either Megan or Melody, and the ladies showed up at the reunion to remind him of what he was missing. Canât win them all.
Despite that, Ty is still hopeful about the couples who stayed together.
âWhat was really fun for me too and maybe I didnât find what I was looking forâit was really great to see some of these others play out and know that you were really there for the beginning of it,â Ty said to KBSI in May. âAnd I think one or two for sure might go the distance.â
When asked if dating in 2024 feels weird, Ty said, âIt sure is.â
âTypically itâs hard to meet anybody out and about. Itâs just so different, being out in the country kind of a homebody,â he said.
Couples from Season That Are Still Together
Ryan Black and Haley RamirezRyan Black and Haley Ramirez
This couple didnât even make it to the Season 1 finale. Ryan Black, a horse trainer and breeder, surprised viewers when he changed his mind after sending Haley Ramirez home for being âtoo emotional.â In the finale, he went to New York to try to win her back, and she agreed to return to the farm. However, Ryan ended up leaving the show single when Haley said she wasnât ready for a relationship with him.
Allen Foster and Khelsi Stone
In the Season 1 finale, Tennessee cattle rancher Allen Foster chose Khelsi Stone, a teacher from Georgia, over runner-up Rebecca Rosell. However, just two days after the finale aired, Foster and Stone revealed their romance had already ended.
Foster shared the breakup on Instagram, saying, âWhat an incredible journey and opportunity this has been! I came into this with an open mind and open heart! Farmer Wants a Wife didnât end how Iâd hoped as far as a relationship, however, I have gained friendships and had opportunities that will last a lifetime! I truly am a blessed man to have been a part of this journey! Thank you all for the kindness and support!â
Stone wasnât as positive in her social media post, replying in the comments of a post, âEverything speaks volume[s] now and Iâm glad I no longer have to pretend Iâm okay.â She confirmed the breakup while addressing Fosterâs post, saying, âNo maâam we are not [together]. I was trying to be respectful of the time we did share and tell our story a little later.â
Landon Heaton and Ashley Larea
Oklahoma cattle rancher Landon Heaton had to choose between two women named AshleyâLarea and Rader. He chose Larea, an executive coordinator from Dallas, but like the other couples, their relationship didnât last long.
Larea posted a now-deleted note on Instagram, confirming their breakup: âAt the finale in December, we were completely changed and hopeful in our future ahead. After the show stopped filming, the pressure of things beyond my control took a toll and we decided to go our separate ways in January.â
Heaton posted his own message, giving more details about their split: âWhat I found was an amazing raw connection with a fantastic person.
Following the final days of filming, due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to be home with my family, and then life got busy. Ashley and I made the decision to go separate ways in January of 2023, in an effort to adjust back to ânormal life.'â
Landon Heaton and Ashley LareaHunter Grayson and Meghan Baker
Hunter Grayson, a cattle and horse rancher, had a strong connection with Meghan Baker right from the start. However, when Meghan had to leave the show because her grandfather passed away, it seemed like their romance might not fully develop. But the tragic event actually made Meghan more sure of her feelings for Hunter.
She said, âWe had a great one-on-one date with his family. I loved his family. And that connection really started to grow for me. And then I got the call the next morning [that my grandfather had died] and I told Hunter and he dropped absolutely everything to be there for me. And that showed for me, even through the hard times, heâs going to be there.â
When Meghan got a chance to return for the finale, she took it to see if Hunter still felt the same way. It seemed he did, and they left the show as a couple. Unfortunately, by the end of June, they had broken up.
Meghan shared the breakup news on Facebook, saying, âIâve never in my life had to make a break up post before so bear with meâŚBreak ups are hard enough without having to post about them but I guess this is what I get for signing up for this wild adventure.
God only knows who he has in store for my life. I know that He put me on #farmerwantsawife for a reason. Thank you all for following along on âourâ journey. Please remember we are both human and sometimes things just donât work out, but we wish each other the best!â
Meghan later found love and shared in April 2024 that she had gotten married!
