Meryl Streepās daughter, Mamie Gummer, has made a name for herself in Hollywood over the years.
Mamie is the eldest daughter of Streep and ex-husband Don Gummer. In addition to Mamie, the duo, who split in 2017, are also the parents of son Henry Wolfe Gummer and daughters Grace Gummer and Louisa Jacobson.
Like her mom, Mamie has pursued a career in acting. She starred in the 2012 medical series Emily Owens, M.D. and had a recurring role on The Good Wife. In addition to multiple TV roles, she also appeared in movies and theater productions.
In February 2024, Mamie made headlines after she filed for divorce from Mehar Sethi after six years of marriage. TMZ reported that the actress cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce and listed her and Sethiās separation date as May 6, 2023.

She Is Following in Her Momās FootstepsMamie made her acting debut as a toddler alongside Streep in her 1986 film, Heartburn. However, Mamie was credited in the project under a pseudonym.
As Mamie grew older, she took her craft seriously. She studied theater and communications at Northwestern University. After graduating in 2005, Mamie scored a minor role in Lasse Hallstrƶmās film The Hoax, which starred Richard Gere.
In 2008, she portrayed John Adamsā wife, Sally Adams, in the HBO miniseries about the second President of the United States. That same year she made her Broadway debut in the Tony Award-nominated revival of Les Liaisons Dangereuses.
From 2010 to 2015, she portrayed Nancy Crozier on The Good Wife. After the drama wrapped up, she reprised her role for the spinoff, The Good Fight.

Mamie made a cameo in The Devil Wears Prada, but the scene was cut. In the 2007 drama, Evening, Mamie played the younger version of her mother. Sheās Been Married TwiceBefore walking down the aisle with Sethi, Mamie was married once before. Mamie tied the knot with actor Benjamin Walker in July 2011, and their nuptials were held at her parentsā home in Connecticut. The pair split in March 2013 after nearly two years of marriage.
Five years later, Mamie and Sethi got engaged. They wed in February 2019.
