The duo teamed up to write the Gordon's Game series, with the kids books becoming popular bestsellers.
D'Arcy has plenty of strings to his bow post-retirement, owning a successful business and continue rugby punditry and writing.

What age is Gordon D'arcy?
Born in 1980, D'arcy turns 45 at the beginning of February.
Where is he from?
D'Arcy is from Wexford but attended school at the prestigious Clongowes Wood College in Kildare.
Rugby career
At the time, D'Arcy retired as one of Ireland's most decorated players. He won two Six Nations titles, including the 2009 Grand Slam and one three Heineken Cups with Leinster.
He was also Six Nations Player of the Tournament in 2004.
D'Arcy played 82 times for his country and over 250 times for Leinster.
Wife and family life
D'Arcy married long-time sweetheart Aoife Cogan back in 2012. The pair were wed in Monaghan with the reception taking place at the luxurious Castle Leslie.
Aoife is a former Miss Ireland winner.
