What have they said about each other in the media?
While Jodie likes to steer clear of the public life and doesn't do many interviews, Rory Best has been doting about her when asked.
In a 2019 interview, Best said that she helped 'keep him from going off the rails' as his rugby career took off.
He told Evoke.ie: "What I said to her the other day is āWeāve been together longer than weāve been apart now at this stageā.
"We were in the same geography class together we just sort of met at a couple of parties.
"We kind of got talking and weāve sort of been together ever since then. Itās great,ā he gushed.
"Probably the first date was The Coach nightclub in Banbridge I wouldāve thought. The school used to do parties there... It seems so long ago.
"She knows how much Iāve been through. She knows also how hard it is to get to play for Ireland and how hard Iāve had to work.
"She ultimately knows what Iāve been through and how hard it is and how these moments are very precious and like that they can be taken away from you."
