Why Brad Pitt & Ines de Ramon Aren't in a Rush To Get Married After His Angelina Jolie Divorce
Brad has a lot of items on his to-do list.
Now that has settled his eight-year-long divorce from Angelina Jolie, it leaves him time to focus on his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon. The 32-year-old jewelry designer, who used to be married to actor Paul Wesley, is reportedly the main reason why the 61-year-old Oscar winner finally realized that dragging out his split from Jolie wasn’t healthy for anyone. So, what is the next step in their relationship?
Fans might think the couple is going to quickly get engaged and rush down the aisle, but a source told Us Weekly something very different. The insider shared that the Pitt and de Ramon “aren’t putting any pressure on marriage” even though they are “committed to each other and very serious.” In fact, the Fight Club star and de Ramon might skip the marriage milestone altogether because Pitt “doesn’t necessarily need to get married again at this time.”

That might suit de Ramon just fine. She was reportedly the one who encouraged him to fix what wasn’t working in his personal life before possibly embarking on starting a family together. “He was influenced by Ines to finally settle. Ines wants to have a life together — with possibly children in the future — without the albatross that was the eight-year War of the Roses,” a source told Page Six. “She has made [it known that] her opinion is that life would be much more enjoyable with this settled.”
Pitt still needs to reconcile with all six of his children, Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. They sided with Jolie after Pitt’s alleged domestic violence incident in 2016. “Brad isn’t in contact with the older kids. It’s a very sad situation for him,” the Us Weekly source noted while sharing that he doesn’t “have a super close relationship” with the twins either.
De Ramon seems to be a big reason that Pitt is considering how he can get a second chance with his kids while making a home life for her. Those relationships will be tricky to navigate after years of hurt, but the Wolfs star knows he has the support of de Ramon. It’s a romance he hopes to nurture even without a wedding on the horizon.
