Reese Witherspoon's kids don't tune into her morning show.
The Oscar winner revealed that her and ex Ryan Philippe's daughter Ava Philippe, 25, and son Deacon Philippe, 21, as well as her 12-year-old son Tennessee Toth—who she shares with ex Jim Toth—aren't interested in seeing her impressive catalogue of movies and TV shows.
"My children actively avoid my work," Reese exclusively told E! News. "I literally have my son tell me last night that he did not know I made a living being funny. He was like, 'I just didn't realize. You're funny at home—sort of.'"
In fact, the 48-year-old said one of her sons was surprised by the audience's reaction to her forthcoming film You're Cordially Invited—which also stars Will Ferrell and was released on Amazon Prime Jan. 30—when he saw an early screening.
"When he sat through the movie, he was like, 'People were laughing at your stuff,'" Reese recalled. "I was like, 'Yeah.'" (For more from Reese and Will, tune into E! News Tonight, Jan. 30 at 11 p.m.)

And while her son may have come around to his mom's new romantic comedy, the Legally Blonde star joked that he wasn't so sure other kids his age would feel the same.
"He told me kids his age won't want to go see it because we're old," Reese quipped. "That's what he said to me: 'You're old. But they'll love it when they when they do watch it with their parents.'"

As for Will, he had a similarly humbling moment with one of his sons Magnus, 20, Mattias, 18, and Axel, 15, who he shares with wife of 25 years Viveca Paulin.
"One of my boys said, 'Dad, You're like a player in the NBA who's had, like, a really nice career, and it's kind of leveled out a little bit, but now you're having, like, a second rise to your career,'" Will shared in the joint interview, before joking, "So, I guess I was out of the game for a long time. Now I'm back."

She would later launch her own production company with a title that nodded to the moniker, Type A. In a 2005 profile with Interview, however, she clarified the title choice, saying, "It was actually an in-joke with my family because at [age] 7 I understood complicated medical terms, such as the difference between type A and type B personalities. But I just wished I'd named the company Dogfood Films or Fork or something. You carry that baggage all your life."
5. Her first acting gig came at age 7, when she selected as a model for a florist's commercials. It inspired her to take acting lessons.
6. In 1991, she attended an open casting call for the film The Man in the Moon, intending to audition as a bit player. Instead, she landed the lead role of Dani Trant, the 14-year-old girl who falls in love for the first time with her 17-year-old neighbor. In her debut, she was nominated for Best Young Actress at that year's Young Artist Awards.

And I was like, 'Yeah, I know. I don't know you!' Jim came over and said, 'Please excuse my friend. He's just broken up with someone.' Jim was a really good friend, pulling him out of that situation. That's just kind of who he is, a really good person." They tied the knot at her ranch in Ojai, Calif., in March 2011 and welcomed their son, Tennessee in September 2012.
17. In 2013, Witherspoon and Toth were pulled over by Atlanta PD as Toth was weaving in and out of lanes.
