Will Heidi Montag Join ‘The Real Housewives?’ Here’s What Andy Cohen Said
Bravo producer Andy Cohen previously addressed Heidi Montag’s desire to join “The Real Housewives.”
Heidi Montag and her husband Spencer Pratt have received an onslaught of fan support after losing their Pacific Palisades home and all of their belongings to the California wildfires that raged through Los Angeles County in January 2025.
The former “The Hills” stars have kept fans updated via regular TikTok posts. In addition, Pratt’s plea to download his wife’s music resulted in Montag’s 2010 album “Superficial” hitting No. 1 on the iTunes U.S. album chart on January 12, according to Parade.
Fans have also petitioned for the former MTV stars to return to TV—perhaps on a Bravo reality show such as “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” or “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
“We want Heidi and Spencer on @BravoTV,” one fan wrote on X.
“Housewives husbands have desensitized us. Lol. @BravoTV We need a Heidi and Spencer show!! another agreed.
While Bravo producer Andy Cohen hasn’t responded to the new comments about bringing Montag and Pratt to Bravo, he has talked about it in the past. During a September 2023 episode of Sirius XM’s “Andy Cohen Live,” Cohen admitted he doesn’t know the former MTV stars. “I just gotta be clear, I don’t know them,” he said on his radio show. “I didn’t watch ‘Laguna Beach’ so I don’t even have much institutional knowledge of them.”
Cohen also explained why he’s not interested in bringing stars from well-known from reality TV entities to the Housewives. “I have said that I thought it would be weird if they were on ‘The Housewives’ because the same reason that I was saying that it would be weird if Snooki came on ‘The Housewives,’” he explained. “They’re so identified, not only with another show, but with another network.”

Cohen’s comments came days after Montag sat down for an interview with The Hollywood Reporter and claimed the Bravo host wouldn’t cast her on his California-based “Real Housewives” shows. “He made a statement a while ago that he would never want me on it and that I wasn’t for their franchise. But I think that he’s so wrong,” Montag said at the time. “I would think that he would appreciate the reality star that I am. I completely make sense to be on one of these shows.”
“Maybe before when I was younger, that didn’t quite make sense. But I’m 37 now, and as a mama too, I could easily go on Orange County or Beverly Hills,” the longtime MTV star continued.
Montag also questioned if Cohen was a fan of her “The Hills” rival, Lauren Conrad. (On his radio show, Cohen said he is not.)
Montag’s husband has already said he doesn’t even want to be part of a “Real Housewives” show. “I don’t want to be on any Housewives franchise,” Pratt told E! News in a 2023 interview. “I would like our own television show. I don’t like sharing, I don’t like casts. And, you know, end of the day, it technically is a team sport—and we learned there’s not very many good teams to be on.”
The Pratt Daddy founder added if they did agree to join “The Real Housewives,” the only franchise to join would be Salt Lake City. “I feel like they’re the only ones right now that people are talking about. But you know, ‘The Heidi and Spencer Show’ is where I’m putting my energy,” he said.

Amid the couple’s newfound popularity in 2025, Pratt has taken to TikTok to make an appeal to Hulu— not Bravo or its sister streaming platform Peacock.
“Anyone that wants Heidi and I to get a reality show, just go comment on Hulu ‘s accounts,” he told his 1.8 million followers. “Hulu’s the only one that was interested in a Heidi and Spencer show.’
“If you want us to go dig up our house and rebuild on our old dirt and do like a home improvement show right there, we’ll do that. I’ll do whatever show, but it’s Hulu,” Pratt added. “Maybe if we flood their DMs and their comments, they’re gonna be like, ‘Oh my gosh people love Heidi and Spencer now, let’s do the show.’ So @hulu. Just spam ’em.”
