Zara McDermott shows off 'clear out' results as she ignores Sam Thompson 'split'
Presenter and radio host Sam was heard all but confirming their split but Zara has been busy keeping things as normal as possible
Zara McDermott has showed off the results of her new year 'clear out' as she continues to ignores Sam Thompson's vague comments about their rumoured split.
Presenter and radio host Sam was heard all but confirming their split as he spoke to his best pal Pete Wicks on the latest episode of their podcast, Staying Relevant. The episode, released on Monday (January 13), saw Sam moan at his friend for going off radar for the last few weeks.
He said: "I've been going through some stuff," with Pete agreeing: "I didn't know you were essentially on the edge for all of Christmas. But you're here, and I didn't know if you were going to be or not. I'm glad you are here."
Sam noted his Christmas "wasn't good," alluding to his and Zara's split, with Pete joking Sam used the tinsel surrounding him in what the I'm A Celebrity star described as a "Christmas tomb" to "wipe his tears," before he confirmed himself: "It was tough. I won't say too much as it's not fair on other parties, but it's been a real tough month."
But Zara hasn't shared her own comments about the rumoured split and has been carrying on as normal having confirmed she's working on her next documentary.
However, in between work, the former Love Island and Strictly Come Dancing star was seen having a 'clear out' as she took to Instagram with a before and after look at the pile of boxes and bags she's acquired at home in Chelsea, London, which she shared with Sam.
"Post Christmas clear out," Zara wrote alongside the post with a waving hand emoji. While she clicked her fingers and the rubbish was gone, the TV star actually confirmed:" @litta_app came through with the clear up on the same day. Legends."

It comes after Zara did comment on her 'awkward' appearance with Sam on Michael McIntyre's Big Show, which was reportedly filmed just days before their split. The pair were featured on the show's Midnight Gameshow which sees Michael headed into the home of a famous person or couple and surprise them in the middle of the night with a series of games.
In an unexpected twist during filming, Michael intended to surprise the duo in bed, but found they had secured their bedroom door, altering the usual format that involved Michael bursting into the room unannounced. Taking to Instagram Stories, Zara posted a clip from the show and gave live commentary as the events played out.
The 28-year-old admitted to being thoroughly entertained by rewatching the chaos that unfolded and shared with her followers: "I am not joking when I say, we thought that it was a burglar, we thought we were being robbed."
