Based on a popular webtoon, âJeongnyeon: The Star is Bornâ is a drama set in the 1950s, shortly after the Korean War. Kim Tae Ri stars as the titular Jeong Nyeon, a young vocal prodigy who dreams of becoming a top traditional theater actor.

On the previous episode of âJeongnyeon: The Star is Born,â Jeong Nyeon fell into Hye Rangâs trap while preparing for her high-stakes audition. After losing her voice and struggling to finish her audition, Jeong Nyeon ultimately coughed up blood and collapsed on stage.
In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Jeong Nyeon falls to her knees in despair after being told by a doctor that she must give up singing. Feeling as though her entire world has fallen apart and she has lost everything, Jeong Nyeon breaks down sobbing in the middle of the street, as if she has suddenly lost all energy and her knees have given way.
The image of Jeong Nyeon clutching her throat in the pouring rain makes it clear just how much singing meant to herâand just how devastating it is that her career may now be over.

A new report from federal officials has revealed what happened leading up to a plane crash on a Southern California island that killed all five people aboard took off in the dark despite not having clearance to do so. The twin-engine Beechcraft 95 crashed as it was attempting to take off shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday from Santa Catalina Islandâs airport near the city of Avalon, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The airport manager previously said that while the pilot was not given clearance, the takeoff was not considered illegal.
