Courteney Cox shares her 'gorgeous' perfume that she keeps in her handbag
During Courtney Cox's handbag clearout, she found her favourite everyday coconut-scented fragrance which she said is 'gorgeous' and 'small so that you can take it places'
January is the ideal time to get your life in order, and that includes a thorough declutter. Even our handbags need a refresh, as Courteney Cox recently found out during her own clear-out.
The actress shared an Instagram video where she rummaged through her everyday bag, rediscovering some beloved items. Amongst the usual suspects of hair clips and lip balms, she found her HomeCourt CocoMoi Perfume Oil, priced at £38, and gushed: "This is my favourite thing, it smells so good. I like the fact that it's gorgeous and small so that you can take it places. Yeah, that is incredible."

Sure, Courteney might be a tad partial since HomeCourt is her own line, but the perfume oil has been receiving rave reviews from customers too. It boasts a 9.4 out of 5-star rating on the site, with one shopper commenting: "Love, love and LOVE!!! The scent is wonderfully warm and cozy and lasts all day. One of my new faves for the winter months."
Another echoed the sentiment: "This first day I wore this, could not get enough of the scent! Was asked by many what was I wearing :)"
Courtney called the perfume "gorgeous" (Image: Courtney Cox/Instagram)And a third added: "This is the best coconut scent ever! I have tried so many that I purchased online and this is the ONLY one that I have loved."
In fact, there was only one review which didn't give a full five stars, with a customer noting: "Love the scent but it does not stay."
The CocoMoi Perfume Oil is a handbag essential with its rollerball design, allowing for easy reapplication throughout the day. Made from naturally-derived botanical oils, it's free from alcohol, parabens and sulfates.
The scent is a delightful blend of fresh coconut water, cedarwood and creamy fig, balanced by warm notes of sweet cardamom, vetiver and black pepper. It's inspired by the comforting feeling of a beach walk at sunset.
The perfume smells like coconut (Image: HomeCourt)For other coconut-based scents, Who is Elijah offers a similar fragrance. Their EAU perfume, usually priced at £80, is now £64 at Boots for a 50ml bottle.
With notes of coconut, fig, pear and tonka, it's a versatile scent perfect for any season, though it does have a tropical, summery vibe. The Who Is Elijah 11 Vial Discovery Set is also available at Boots for £36 (down from £45), featuring 11 samples of the brand's best sellers, including the EAU scent.
If you're looking for more compact options, the & Other Stories Roll On Perfume In Perle De Coco is a great choice. Like the CocoMoi Perfume Oil, it comes in a convenient 6ml rollerball bottle.
This perfume offers a sweeter scent, with top notes of caramel and red apple, heart notes of bamboo, jasmine and ylang-ylang, and base notes of vanilla, warm milk accord and sandalwood, reports the Mirror..

The widow of a steel magnate, socialite Perle Mesta used her fortune to host inclusive dinner parties in Washington, D.C., in the 1940s and '50s, becoming known as "The Hostess with the Mostes' on the Ball" (after Irving Berlin celebrated her in the musical, "Call Me Madam"). Mesta became one of the most famous women in the world, and her influence – on politics and on the social scene – is examined by Meryl Gordon in her new biography, "The Woman Who Knew Everyone." CBS News' Erin Moriarty talks with Gordon; with 99-year-old former journalist Marie Ridder, who attended some of Mesta's parties; and with Washington insider Sally Quinn, who doubts that any power broker today could pull off what Mesta once did so brilliantly: getting Democrats and Republicans to sit down at a dinner table and see eye-to-eye.
