ATEEZ, TXT, aespa, NCT DREAM, ENHYPEN, Jin, BABYMONSTER, And More Earn Circle Million And Platinum Certifications

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has announced its latest batch of official certifications! In 2018, the Korea Music Content Industry Association implemented a new certification system for album sales, song downloads, and online streaming. Starting with music released on or after January 1, 2018, Circle Chart now certifies albums platinum once they reach 250,000 sales, while albums that have sold a million copies or more receive a “million” certification. This month, ATEEZ earned two separate certifications for their latest mini album “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2.” The regular version of the mini album received an official million certification for over 1 million copies sold, while the POCA version was certified platinum after selling over 250,000 copies. TXT’s “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY,” aespa’s “Whiplash,” NCT DREAM’s “DREAMSCAPE,” and ENHYPEN’s “ROMANCE : UNTOLD -daydream-“ all also earned official million certifications for selling over 1 million copies each. BTS’s Jin’s first solo album “Happy” earned a triple platinum certification for over 750,000 copies sold since its release. Meanwhile, the Nemo version of BABYMONSTER’s first full-length album “DRIP” was certified double platinum for over 500,000 copies sold. Red Velvet’s Irene’s solo debut mini album “Like A Flower,” TWS’s “Last Bell,” and WayV’s “FREQUENCY” were all certified platinum for selling over 250,000 each. Finally, in the streaming category, BTS’s Jungkook’s “Seven” (featuring Latto), BE’O’s “LOVE me,” and Jung Dong Ha’s “I Still Love You” were all certified platinum after surpassing 100 million streams each. Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on January 11! Stray Kids’ SKZHOP HIPTAPE “? (HOP)” topped the World Albums chart for the third week in a row, and it also held steady at No. 13 in its third consecutive week on the Billboard 200. BTS’s Jimin’s solo album “MUSE” remained unmoving at No. 2 in its 24th week on the World Albums chart, in addition to climbing back up to No. 106 in its 24th week on the Billboard 200. ENHYPEN’s “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” held onto its spot at No. 3 in its 25th week on the World Albums chart, and it also became the group’s first album ever to spend 19 weeks on the Billboard 200, where it rose to No. 154 this week. ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2” stayed strong at No. 6 in its seventh week on the World Albums chart, while BTS’s 2022 anthology album “Proof” jumped to No. 7 in its 134th week on the chart. TXT’s “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY” took No. 8 in its ninth week on the chart, with ILLIT’s “I’LL LIKE YOU” rising to No. 9 in its eighth week. SEVENTEEN’s “SPILL THE FEELS” claimed No. 10 in its 11th week on the chart, while Stray Kids’ “ATE” came in at No. 11 in its 24th week. Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has published its year-end charts for 2024! Because the yearly charts are based on accumulated weekly data since the beginning of January 2024, songs and albums released earlier in the year have more weekly points included in their scores. Album Chart SEVENTEEN swept the top two spots on the album for chart for 2024: their latest mini album “SPILL THE FEELS” topped the year-end chart, while their best-of album “17 IS RIGHT HERE” followed close behind at No. 2. Stray Kids, NCT DREAM, and TXT all also claimed two spots each in the top 10 for 2024. Stray Kids’ “ATE” took No. 3 for the year, while their recent special album “? (HOP)” came in at No. 7. NCT DREAM’s “DREAM( )SCAPE” made the year-end chart at No. 5, while their recent album “DREAMSCAPE” ranked No. 10.
