Jennifer Lopez's Edgy Look Included the No.1 Sky-High Boots on My Wishlist
Jennifer Lopez recently wore a pair of pointed toe boots, a sexy style that’s a must in any winter wardrobe. Steal the star’s look by shopping for these editor-loved options, including knee-high boots and kitten heel boots, from just $40.
When it comes to styling hacks, I can never turn down a good monochrome moment. And, as it turns out, neither can Jennifer Lopez. Last week, the star took to Instagram to show off one of her many fabulous Sundance looks: a head-to-toe black ensemble featuring a chic beret, long draped coat, and pointy stiletto boots.
Although I don’t think I can quite pull off a leather cap like Lopez can, I am in the market for new winter boots. After seeing stars like Amal Clooney and Taylor Swift sport similar sexy pairs, I’m now convinced I need some of my own. It’s a good thing that Amazon has tons of lookalikes, including on-sale options starting at just $62.
Easyfox Knee-High Stiletto Boots, $62 (Originally $69) Dream Pairs Knee-High Stiletto Slouchy Suede Boots, $60 Modatope Knee-High Kitten Boots, $65 Colette Knee-High Pointy Boots, $40 Vomira Knee-High Kitten Heel Boots, $65 Dream Pairs Knee-High Stiletto Boots, $58 Modatope Knee-High Stiletto Boots, $65 (Originally $69)Those who, like Lopez, are brave enough to rock a sky-high heel, may want to check out these leather pointed boots from Dream Pairs. The $58 pair features a soft inner lining and a convenient side zipper, making them a breeze to slip in and out of. Although the classic black version is great for everyday wear, the boots also come in a crocodile-esque pattern that would make an eye-catching statement shoe. Equally as stylish are these suede boots. Thanks to their slouchy design, they add a bit of texture and dimension to an otherwise plain outfit.
Even if towering heels aren’t your style, you can still steal Lopez’s look by snagging a more moderate pair of pointed boots. This comfy option, for example, is a close lookalike for the star’s pair, but instead features an itty-bitty kitten heel. Aside from black, it comes in other neutral shades like light and dark brown, along with this on-trend burgundy version. One shopper who wore the pair to a baby shower called them their “new favorite pair of boots,” also adding that they’re comfortable enough to walk “all day in.”

Although Lopez’s outfit was indeed a festival showstopper, you can easily wear these boots on more casual days, as well. Recently, I’ve been loving the look of a pointed toe peeking out from underneath baggy, flowy trousers. Simply pop on an oversized sweater and mini shoulder bag, and you’d have the perfect wintertime dinner look.
To cure my Sundance fomo and fill a gap in my winter wardrobe, I’ll certainly be adding a pair of black pointy boots to cart. Below, find even more celeb-inspired styles from just $40.
