Piers Morgan's wife reveals his hair is completely natural
Piers Morgan's journalist wife Celia Walden dropped by ITV's Lorraine and showered her hubby with praise after host Lorraine Kelly made a quip about him.
The 49-year-old writer has become a familiar face on the popular daytime show, regularly joining Scottish presenter Lorraine Kelly to dish the latest celeb news.
On Wednesday, March 13, Celia sat down with Lorraine to discuss all things showbiz alongside Ross King, who videoed in from Los Angeles to talk about Michelle Obama and her brother Craig Robinson's podcast venture.
But the discussion soon moved on to George Clooney's fresh haircut becoming the hot topic. The A-lister's new trim, for an upcoming movie role, sparked a playful nudge from Lorraine abou Celia's husband Piers Morgan's own locks.
She quipped: "Piers doesn't dye his hair because I am reliably informed that it's a wig Celia," reports Bristol Live.
Celia made an on-air confession
Lorraine couldn't help but jest further: "He's going to kill me," while Celia laughed along, hinting that Piers has always boasted a "suspicious amount of hair" and reassured viewers that "I can say it's all entirely natural."
Celia then shared candid insight into her marriage, revealing: "He is ferociously against dying it not that I have ever suggested it because I am like you and I like the silver fox."
Lorraine was worried she'd said too much
This comes just weeks after Piers triumphantly returned to Good Morning Britain, four years after he famously walked off the set and never looked back.
Piers made a return to Good Morning Britain, joining Susanna Reid and Ed Balls to discuss his recent chat with US President Donald Trump. The former ITV anchor had dramatically quit the show in March 2021 after expressing doubts about Meghan Markle's claims in her Oprah Winfrey interview.
Piers Morgan returned to GMB
Back on the programme, Piers playfully jabbed at Susanna his ex-co-star, saying: "Hang on, are we just going to ignore the fact I haven't been here for 1,453 days?" He tried to give her a hug, but she rejected him live on air, saying: "No, I don't want a hug."
The lighthearted jabs continued between the former on-screen pair, with Piers remarking that she'd "moved on so fast" as he gazed at her new co-host Ed Balls. Susanna shot back with a smile: "I've got a couple of new husbands now."
Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV1, from 9am.
