Taylor Swift, Beyoncé Send the Internet Into a Tailspin Dancing to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” at Grammys
Taylor Swift had the time of her life dancing to Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us," which just won the GRAMMY for Record of the Year.
One thing about Taylor Swift, she’s going to dance like nobody’s watching—even when everyone is. The “Fortnight” singer lost out to Kendrick Lamar for Record of the Year at Sunday’s (Feb. 2) 67th annual GRAMMY Awards. However, she and fellow nominee Beyoncé clearly harbored no jealousy. In fact, their dance moves currently have the internet going crazy.
After months of feuding, Kendrick Lamar fired back at Drake in May 2024 with the withering “Not Like Us.” Many believe the 37-year-old Compton native ended their beef right there.”Not Like Us” had already scored three trophies when it came time to announce the winner for Record of the Year.
Unsurprisingly, Lamar walked away with his fourth GRAMMY of the night for “Not Like Us.” As the Pulitzer Prize winner made his way to the stage, the camera panned to Beyoncé clapping and swaying along to the Drake diss track. Next, the camera panned to Taylor Swift, who looked painfully aware of her own awkwardness as she danced near her seat.
“lol she be having the time of her life!!” one X/Twitter user wrote of Swift.
Both Swift and Beyoncé were up against the “Euphoria” star for the award. Swift scored a nod for her Post Malone collab “Fortnight,” while Queen Bey was recognized for “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM.”
However, no sour grapes there. Neither artist could resist vibing out to what has been hailed as one of the greatest diss tracks in history.
The “16 CARRIAGES” singer also won big during Sunday’s (Feb. 2) ceremony. With her country debut Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé beat out Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, and fellow genre newcomer Post Malone for Best Country Album.

Making the moment even sweeter, Taylor Swift handed the trophy to her fellow pop icon. Swift won the category back in 2010 for her sophomore album, Fearless.
With her 34th win, Beyoncé becomes the first Black woman to ever win the category.
