William Shatner Reveals the Touching Way He's Celebrated His Birthday for 35 Years as He Turns 94 (Exclusive)
William Shatner tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement how he has celebrated his birthday in the same touching way over the past 35 years, as he marks his 94th birthday on Saturday, March 22.

William Shatner is totally content with the same old.
In celebration of his 94th birthday on Saturday, March 22, the actor tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement that he has marked his special day in the same touching way over the past 35 years.
"For the last many years, I have celebrated my birthday by working on a very successful charity called The Hollywood Charity Horse Show. We have been doing it for 35 years and raised millions of dollars for children and veterans," Shatner says.
As for other celebratory plans this year, the Star Trek alum continues, “My family is taking me to Las Vegas for dinner and a show, and then back to Los Angeles."
"It’s going to be a family experience in that wonderful, entertaining city. I’m really looking forward to it," he adds.

William Shatner's Fascinating Life, from Star Trek Icon to Real-Life Astronaut
Last year, Shatner celebrated his 93rd birthday by looking back on his prolific career in film and television as he attended a premiere for his documentary, You Can Call Me Bill, in Los Angeles.
Shatner previously told PEOPLE that promoting the project was “a little awkward,” explaining, “It's a documentary about me, and I'm expected to help sell it by going out and talking about me, and I don't like to talk about me.”

“When you're talking to the press, you can be a little devious on how you feel and what you're doing and what you think and 'Oh, yes, I love that person,' or 'I made a mistake,'” he added.
“But in doing a serious film, that, in the end, my children and my children's children watch, I didn't want to be facetious or marginal about any of the answers," continued Shatner.
