BTS’s j-hope celebrated his birthday by giving back the love he’s received in a meaningful way!
On February 18, in honor of his birthday, j-hope donated 200 million won (approximately $138,508) to Asan Medical Center in Seoul. The funds will improve facilities and medical care for pediatric and adolescent patients as well as support research into rare and serious childhood diseases.
j-hope expressed his thoughts on the donation, saying, “I hope this donation can offer some help to children who are suffering right now.” He added, “I sincerely wish for them to have a healthy and hopeful future.”
The artist also shared his desire to continue supporting the cause, saying, “I want to give back the love that ARMY has always shown me. Starting with this birthday, I’m honored to continue donating every year.”
j-hope has consistently demonstrated his commitment to giving back. His recent contributions include 100 million won (approximately $69,224) to support victims of the plane crash tragedy in January, 100 million won for Turkey-Syria earthquake relief in 2023, 100 million won to Seoul Asan Medical Center in 2022, and another 100 million won to support underprivileged children in 2021.
